IntroductionParameter

The SLT tester is the solution for testing all flexible MAP-packaging. The SLT makes use of pressure difference as leak test method.

Through the use of two rubber membranes it is possible to create a deep vacuum in the test room without destroying the packaging and create a very small measuring space around the pack. W ith our standard solution we can both detect micro-leaks as large
leaks , without changing the settings. At the same time identical and different packaging can be tested.

In case of leakage during testing of multiple packages at the same time, the SLT will indicate that there is a leak, but not in which packaging.

The SLT measures according Standard Test Method for measuring according to Nondestructive Detection of Leaks in Packages by Vacuum Decay Method (ASTMF2338).
